Sharing Same BOM with Different configurable Materials

Dear all,

We are using configurable material with variant class 300. Few of the materials have same BOM (Bill of material) but they differ due to processing.

right now we are creating seperate BOM for each material which is increasing Master data maintenance both for correction/changes and creation.

Is it possible to share BOM, created for one Header material with a different header materials?

for Example.

1 Kg of Material A - is consuming 1 Kg of Material C

and

1 Kg of Material B- is consuming 1 Kg of Material C.

for both Material A and Material B we are creating different BOM. Is it possible to Make one BOM for Material A and Assign Material B to the same BOM. therefore changes in one BOM will reflect for both Materials A and B.

Please advise the possible solution
