Also be aware of Decision Service Accelerator from Mouritech(http://scn.sap.com/community/brm/blog/2013/10/13/dsa-decision-service-accelerator), which permits to deploy decision services into Java stacks. Deployment into other platforms can be enabled as well. So DSM does not only serve ABAP systems, but it is "a multi-purpose, multi-platform, and multi-language business rule management and execution platform" (quote from Mouritech).
