We have an item for the IT list (for whoever is handling MSS). Currently, we have some workflow delegations set up for some of our VP’s. For example, when a promotion goes into MSS, in Manufacturing, only the promotions to grade 85 and above for exempts and grade 18 and above for non-exempts go to Adrian. The rest of the promotions (77-84 for exempt and 13-17 for non-exempt) stop at the level below him. The Plant Manager is the final approver for those. The reason being is that Adrian has delegated the lower level promotions to his direct reports. We have three other groups who are wanting to do the same thing:
C&E Anthony would approve promotions to grade 85 and above for exempt employees and to grade 18 and above for non-exempt employees. Anthony’s direct report would approve promotions to grade 78-84 for exempts and to grade 13-17 for non-exempts.
